A birch stripe is very common in female GSDs, as well as some neutered males. My neutered male has one. He's what one would call a typical "pet line".
Also, maybe you could try to upload some photos into an album on your home page.

You can get a free photobucket.com account and upload from your phone to that, then post here. We do put an 800 x600 limit on photo size but that site will scale down your photos if you tell it to. Do you have a computer to work from or only a phone? I am sure there must be ways to get photos direct from a phone but I am not sure how to do it.
.but a photo is not going to tell a lot. A lot of the showlines have that grizzle stripe down the back. It is called a bitch stripe.

What line is my girl from?
I got my shepherd Abbey as a rescue about 4 months ago. We found her mother Lucy Von E.P but can't seem to get any information about her to find out what line(s) Abbey has. We thought show because she has an unusual silver line down her back (some show dogs have been known to have that. It's considered a defect but I've heard it's sought out for show) She's not too vibrant in color though
Can someone possibly tell what she is just by looking at her?! Any help is appreciated!
P.s. it won't let me upload pictures from my phone so of anything, I can send pictures through firstname.lastname@example.org.
