Security Question
While balancing on a piece of wood, two inches by four inches known as a 2x4, john and his friend sally both spotted a dalmatian inside a truck with sirens, headed to put out a fire. State what the 2x4 is made of.

Harry and Lola When I collected Harry at 8 weeks, I took along a towel and put it down on the ground so all the puppies ran, laid and sat on it and took that home with me along with Harry, I had never done this before but thought it might be nice for Harry to have his litter mates smells. Don't know if it helped him though as if I remember correctly he didn't show too much interest in the towel when we got home.

In terms of night time, I have always had my puppies on a little bed beside our bed, otherwise some people say put different shaped and weight objects around and under bed as this may help with puppy feeling as though his litter mates are still there and he is laying on them.

Otherwise, like human babies, get ready for some sleepless nights - and enjoy as they really do grow up too quickly.

Jax08 I just put the crate on the bed when I went to sleep. That way I could have my hand in there. Other than that, didn't do anything special. He had no trouble acclimating to me and our house.

Curtis We dropped off a pillow case that both my wife and I used at 5 weeks. That way he got used to our scents, and we brought home the litter's smells as well.

So cute!!!

I can't answer that....just having the puppy in it on the ride home seemed to do the trick for us...but your breeder may have a different suggestion. If you leave it with a bunch of puppies it may get holes from being chewed and tugged on...:-/

andrea04 We get to go pick out the female we want in 2 weeks should I bring a blanket with me and see if the breeder will leave it in with them until I pick her up the following weekend so it gets a good family scent on it to make her comfortable

Shade Can't wait to see photos of the little one

I did bring a small blanket to rub on the mother before leaving, he did cuddle with it and I made sure he had it for the first couple of nights. Other than that I simply started the schedule right away and allowed him to adjust to it.
