Dexters Mum Thank you xx

I have also been teaching him 'stop' from a video someone shared and it seems to be working quite well

shepherdmom A tired pup is a less bite-y pup. Wear him out. Lots of tug and other games. Stick a toy in his mouth when he is biting and have lots and lots of chew toys available.

I find teething pups really grove on frozen raw marrow bones.

Sp00ks Redirect. "No biting". Try teaching that biting stops play. That really worked with our pup.

GSKnight Yes, it is normal. GSD puppies are "land sharks"... advice will follow from more informed members... but it will be along the lines of... redirect with a toy and this too shall pass...

Dexters Mum
First time GSD owner

Hello everyone,
I have a 10 week old little GSD boy named Dexter, he is amazing and I love him to bits already.
The thing is I have 3 children and he runs after them (and me) biting our legs and feet and constantly biting us during play, I tell him to stop but he gets so excited and it really hurts the kids.

I do know this is completely normal but I have read so so many different ways to stop this and let him know its not acceptable and I would really like to hear from some GSD owners who have tried and tested the techniques and know what works?

xx
