ugavet2012 I do teeth extractions weekly, for real it's no big deal, your dog will never care or notice after it's healed. And I'm just a lowly GP vet for just under 2 years (I'll make sure I point that out this time), 90% of my clients could never afford a veterinary dentist. Every GP vet should know how to do extractions. The big teeth like molars and canines need some of the jaw drilled away unless they are rotten like with a lot of small breed dogs. I've done full mouth extractions on some. The healed site just looks like the gums in the rest of your dogs mouth.

I could teach a trained monkey to extract an insicor, those are easy. Many times I can just pluck them out and don't even charge for it. I really don't like to post anymore but this thread was just making me LOL and no one else seemed to be giving you the answer you wanted so hopefully this will suffice.

The fracture to Zoes incisor was discovered during the RC, so we just had the dog dentist take care of it, as long as you trust your regular vet, then go for it. We switched vets last years, ours retired, not fully sure about him yet.

We had to have an incisor pulled when Zoe had her RC & crown done on her canine, the roots go pretty deep and there is some risk of damage to the mandibular nerve, which can be bad news. I would discuss your options with a veterinary dentist, not a general vet. Here's an xray of Zoe's incisor.
