But to be honest...the best thing is to call the vet and ask if they think he should be seen. Especially if he may have an eye infection or injury.

My girl had puppy pyoderma 3 times in her first 2 months home with us. She was only 4.8 lbs at 7 weeks. now she is healthy and 58-59 lbs at 10.5 months. Some pups just need a little extra tender loving care in the early months.
I posted the pictures you requested

Wetdog If he's healthy and he loves you and you love him, it doesn't matter what breed or breed mixture he is.

The rash looks like flea bites that have become infected to me. Take him to the vet---you might need antibiotics to clear up the infection. And you need to be very careful about fleas----they can be very hard to find on black dogs with thick fur. I'd recommend putting him on a once a month heartworm/flea medication your vet can prescribe.

iblishaitan Here are the pictures of the rash as you guys requested.
The red eye comes and goes. The eyes dont seem dry to me.

In the following picture he is missing hair on that side. I saw him biting down there and upon investigating found the rash.

DJEtzel Eye problems are not to be messed around with. I don't go to the vet for every little thing, but eye problems are big problems if left untreated.

His left eye is red.
And one of his inner thigh is missing hair and has bumps like a rash.

I have a Vet appointment on the 30th for his second round of vaccines. Can anyone give me a headsup. Is this super serious that I should go to the Vet now or can I wait till the 30th or any home remedy to fix it.

This is my thoughts too, it might be a bit younger than the guy said he was.

Looks full GSD to me, and a real cutie too! Enjoy him!!

havery I agree with the others that he's just younger than you were told, maybe the guy you got him from was just trying to get rid of a puppy, even though it was a little too young. For comparison, here's my Sofie at 8 weeks, pretty similar in size as well. She's now 17 months & a healthy, lean 68 lbs.

I was reading more into it and do you guys feel that Blitz may be a GSD Dwarf?

rjstrotz Whatever Blitzie is, he is very handsome!!! I can see from the photo next to your cell phone that he has that distinctive GSD black "beauty mark" on his left "cheek"-- GSDs have black "beauty marks" which are black dots on both cheeks. He could be the best of all worlds and be a Husky (silver hair) and a GSD. These two breeds look the most like wolves... very beautiful.
