|lyssa62||debbie -- she will be a year old on the 30th. She does so good here at home and even now compared to just 2 months ago..our walking is so much better. I can get her to just walk past stuff..now sometimes she turns around and looks at it and it takes me a minute to get her refocused....there is just something about dog class that we just can't master. As soon as we get in there that "doppy" look comes on ..tongue hanging out the side of her mouth..tail wagging 100 miles an hour...and come on.it's play time!|

See if the trainer can set up some barriers that blocks her view of the other dogs until she calms down. She'll be able to hear them, but won't see them.
When she's ready, take away the barriers.

Oi -- help
Roxy started her next set of classes and we are off to the same start as the first set.
Brain goes to mush when we get to class. Totally blows me off and wants to play with the other dogs. Again...after class I show the trainer what she is capable of without distraction....are we ever going to get past this? Is this still puppy stage? She is 100% better at walking with me and not paying attention to stuff...but class time it's like she wants to be the class clown.
ps and this set of classes is for that Good Canine Citizen thing. I have a feeling we will be repeating this class.
