DaniFani There really is absolutely no way of knowing unless you have pedigrees and/or see the parents. There is such a wide range in looks for color etc in the GSD, there isn't any way to know, only thing to do is wait and see. Ears look too heavy to stand, but again, only time will tell.

Thanks for rescuing! ;-)

My girl is also a rescue, so her father is a bit of a mystery, but she has grown and changed so much since I first adopted her. Enjoy all the growing and transformations!

BowWowMeow I had a rottie x gsd foster puppy. His ears stood part way when he was full grown. He was between 80 and 90 pounds.

My dog Chama was a rottie mix. She was only 70 pounds full grown.

Your pup could have more than two breeds in the mix. One parent could have been pb and the other a mutt.

VanBuren shepherds I would agree with the shelter. I've seen lab/GSD mixes and this looks a lot like them. The ears also look like a labs to me. Defiantly not a pure bred GSD. Still very cute though!

German shepherds can look like this. But no one will be able to guess. Just love her no matter if.she's pure or mixed.
