5rgj Yes he does play (very nicely) with the other puppy so I suppose that makes sense. It's just amazing how fast he changed, literally overnight, just shows how effective our training over the past few months was :-|

truckola I had a pup that would bite very hard till the neighbor got a husky pup. After that she was very gentle, I guess the other pup would bite her back and she figured out it hurt!

onyx'girl Does he play with the pup? That usually helps w/ the oral. My pups have always been good because they can chew on the other dogs and get corrected by them if they get over the top. It carried over to people/mouthing.

mouthing/biting suddenly stoped

I have a 10 month old dog. We had managed to steadily reduce his mouthing/biting to what we regarded as an exceptable level for his age. Then a couple of weeks ago we got another GSD (2 month old bitch). Overnight our dogs mouthing/biting behaviour towards all humans reduced to almost zero and what he does do is extremely light and quick. Obviously this is a good thing but I was wondering if anyone could think of a reason for the sudden change when a new puppy was introduced.
