LifeofRiley Last one, Riley was a big hit at our holiday party. Yes, John couldn't help himself from showing off a few tricks that Riley knows... the play dead routine that John and Riley have is always a show-stopper (it is impressive and dramatic)... So, now everyone wants to try to make him "play dead" in the same way. I keep telling them that he won't do it unless it is me or John... but they keep trying.... makes walks interesting : )

misslesleedavis1 In pet smart milling around around, i turned around only to find a very little girl with her hand in shilohs mouth going "i want my dog snack back" lol shiloh i guess found a milkbone on the floor and ate it. She is gentle but was not going to give that snack back.

LifeofRiley Okay, another one, but this one is about a foster dog I had about a year and half ago... a blanket black female GSD... I was taking her out for a walk just as a couple of teenage kids were walking by and they literally stopped in their tracks and said... "oh no... that looks just like the demon dog from..." [the rest of the quote was about a movie I had never heard of and can't remember now].

I laughed and said, "do you want to meet her?" [She was very friendly] After careful deliberation, they said yes and they later agreed that she was not, in fact, a demon dog

"Tear her limb from limb?" No, of course not, he can swallow her whole.

Nikitta When I got my first German Shepherd and I was out walking him, a boy who was walking the other way asked me," Is that an English bulldog?" LOL

LifeofRiley The other day when Riley and I walked into the vet's office a little girl in the waiting area exclaimed to her Mom, "look, Mom, it is a giant fox!" The mom and I looked at each other and smiled. A little later the little girl was petting Riley and the Mom was explaining to her that Riley was a dog, not a fox! The little girl didn't seem entirely convinced : ) It was a cute/funny moment.

doggiedad thanks. i didn't name him. i was waiting for a friend of mines to
open his from door. when he opened the door the first i said
to him was "i need a name for my puppy". he stood there and
scratched his chin and said "Loki". he didn't know what breed
of dog i was getting and i didn't know who Loki was.

[QUOTE=Loneforce;4740306]My neighbors think I love my dog too much LOL Last year in my 2 door wrangler, I took the back seat out and put a nice soft blanket down. Right behind the front seats, I put a wire cage barrier and installed a fan on it. I installed a tie down with a carabiner for his leash. All I can say is with the AC vents aimed directly at the fan in the center, Jonas Loved sitting back there. It was cooler in the back then it was in the front. This September I traded my 2 door in and Ordered a 4 door. "yep pretty much for Jonas" Wow what a difference! My neighbor even thinks I am more nuts now. The seats fold down and there is so much more room. He just lays back there and enjoys the ride now.

Kahrg4 Sometimes Cafall takes his sweet time finding the perfect blade of grass to do his business on, during which I pass the time by attempting to talk him into speeding the process up. Had a neighbor walk past one day and give me a rather confused look. Apparently, he doesn't talk to his dog about the benefits and good feelings that follow a great bowel movement.
