Technically, she is a Hangin' Tree Cowdog. Every time I type it, the iPhone separates Cowdog into two words. I just gave up, lol.

HTCs are made up of Border Collie, Catahoula, Australian Shepherd & Kelpie.

She is a great dog.

Yes, I have a Siamese that lives outside (his choice) and refuses to be left behind on any walk, even when my husband's cow dog goes along. Doesn't matter how long the walk is either. He pretty much keeps the dog in line, so it's kind of funny. We are quite a crew walking along the fields and woods!

pets4life when my uncle died his cat didnt eat for a long time and is still kinda depressed acting really strange. I think it depends on the cat.

IT was depressing to see the cat mourn like that. Got really skinny. When i Left my cat to go to school he refused to eat and got anorexic also so i had to take him. He was just a domestic short hair.

I have had siamese also and wow do they get clingy to one person. LIke a parrot or something.

jessjeric My boyfriend ad I live with each other. We each have "our" cat. I feed/water both of them. Rhea is mine and she knows it. She will wait for me on the banister by the door when I come home from work or being out. She sleeps next to me - not my boyfriend - at night and follows me around the rest of the morning rubbing up on y legs, rolling around on the ground and counter tops being cute and wanting me to pet her. She is the most well-tempered cat I've ever met, never bites, growls, or hisses at anybody she sets regardless of what they're doing she doesn't like. Rhea is not a big cuddle though. My boyfriend's cat is different.. he can be super ***** and temperamental, throws tantrums, is so sassy out of nowhere it's unbelievable. However, he s much more cuddly than Ray is. Especially with his "dad." whenever my boyfriend sits down his cat is all over him, giving kisses, sitting on his chest, hugging, purring etc.
Cats have such a huge range of personalities and how they display affection and their emotions varies from cat to cat. I' sure there are some cats who couldn't give two ***** about their owners.. having said that I do think this is an unfair, biased, and over generalized opinion to make about pet cats as a whole.

Disagree. When my brother died, his Himalayan watched that door for weeks waiting for him to come home.

My Himi was supposed to be mine. I feed him, love him. Blah...he could care less about me. He's all about my daughter. That cat loves her.

lyssa62 LOL and she would love to have you get her belly-- she loves that. OH yep she's the boss alright. That's about 22 lbs of cat right there

zyppi Try asking the owner of a Burmese cat! They, as a breed want, no, demand human companionship.
