Sunflowers Hans responds to so many names that I have lost count.
The other day he was snoozing in his pen and a commercial came on TV. We started talking about he dog in it and Hans began to wag his tail, so I guess he responds to "Dog," too.

Dogs have no problems with name changes. Tyson reminds me of the chicken company, so I would change it, too. I say go for it!

selzer All my dogs definitely know all their nicknames. Some are generic for all of them, like Sweetie or Pookerbuttkin, turkey duckling, and boogerbutts, but others are their special nick names, ie. Babs' are Babsy, Babsity, Babar, Beebopper, Bebopalula.

mego I call Lara "Piggy" more than any other thing. I say it when I recall her, in public, everywhere, etc Lara, Lars, Lar lar, Piggy, Piggers, she's got a bunch. should be no problem giving your dog a nickname 'no one likes'

Eiros I think they know when you're talking to them! Warden's "names" include:

Warden
Ward
Pup Star
My baby boy
Wolf man
Sugar
Sugar pie

Lol I don't think he thinks any of the others are really names, he just knows I'm talking to him

I like reading the silly names we come up with for our pets haha
