Jax08 Jax and Seger are mine. They go where I go. Sierra is SO's. He can keep Chaos too.

MyHans-someBoy My husband wanted a cow dog and even though it isn't my breed of choice, I do love her. That said, in the event of a break up, she would definitely go with him. I am her good friend, but she worships the ground he walks on.

I have always wanted a GSD, while hubby has always tended to buy into the stereotyping of the "big, bad, aggressive GSD". He knows better now and really likes Hans, but Hans would go with me.

The cats would go with me, even though I'd have to drag Kobe, my Burmese mix, away from my hubby, kicking & yowling the whole way.

I nearly made myself physically sick with worry until I could adopt Kobe from the shelter and yet, this cat follows my husband around with pure adoration in his eyes. Doesn't matter-he's going with me.

Merciel Pongu is MY DOG PONGU. He stays with me. Even now, nobody else can watch him. My husband can't even take him out for a walk if I'm home; Pongu will break away from him and run back to me. He has, on three separate occasions, run away from my parents, my brother, and my husband when they were trying to babysit the crazy dog (and this was after they were all forewarned that he'd do it at the first opportunity). Also, he goes on hunger strike and refuses to eat until I come home.

So Pongu comes with me. Nobody else wants to deal with his insane butt anyhow.

Crookytail can go with my husband. If my husband didn't love him so much I'd have rehomed Crookytail and gotten a real competition dog in his place already.

Yep.

Although the lab would be devastated if she were not with him. She is really "his dog" and the GSD is mine.

Kahrg4 They are my dogs and I am their person. Anyone messing with that can take a long walk off a short pier.

brebrehj My husband and I are currently separated. I am a stay at home mom so I have been home with both dogs 24/7 since they entered our home. He may have brought them into the home and claimed they were his BUT I've always done the feedings, play time, vet visits and walks....when he said he was done without a second thought in my mind I packed the kids and dogs and took off.
They have never liked him much anyway

I'm not on the inside of anyone's marriage but my own, and I can't bring myself to think that someone else's reason (or presumed reason) for a divorce is legitimate or not.

But for my own marriage, I tend to agree with you in that the dealbreakers at this point are very very few.
