Harry and Lola what originalwacky said

and once she is accepting it, you could then phase out the treats and begin to ignore the doors opening, as though it is no big thing

OriginalWacky Make the opening of either item a huge fun thing for her. Have her across the room and give her the yummiest treats while somebody opens the oven, and you pretend like it's nothing. Gradually move closer while giving treats when the door is being open or closed. If she gets too nervous to take the treats, then back off. If she sees them opening as a positive thing, she probably won't be scared anymore.

Scared of dishwasher/oven opening

My 4 month old puppy is really scared of the dishwasher and oven when we open or close them. She yelps and yelps to no end. She's fine with them when they're opened - or closed - just not when they are opening or closing

Has anyone had this problem? Any suggestions to help her get over it? My trainer from puppy classes said to keep them open all day and let her explore, so I've been doing that... But she's fine with them (and really could care less about them) when it's not being opened or closed.
