Msmaria Definitely give him the things you DO want him to chew on now, as he'll get older and still think he can chew on just anything. These are smart dogs. As the teeth get bigger so does the damage. ( My 10 month old chewed my remote control at 7 months and just recently my electric blanket. When I wasnt around).
Dex didnt start barking til he was around 8 1/2 months. He went straight to his big boy bark, must have been practicing when we werent around lol. Dex is a talker so he mumbles, grumbles, groans and whines to let you know what hes feeling. I think thats why he didnt bark much.

Thanks! Hopefully this will work for my dog.

MaggieRoseLee Puppies chew and they can also swallow and get sick so make sure only dog stuff is in his mouth.

Teething, or just chewing?

I just got my seven week old GSD puppy named Chief, and he chews on everything. Im not sure if hes teething, because hes only seven weeks old. I mean, he chews on socks, shoes, bars under the bed, even my fingers. Whenever he chews on something, should I take it away from him, or should I let him chew? Also, when do they start barking? Iv never heard him bark. Thanks! And please,
