Liz&Anna My dog LOVES her flirt pole!! I also use it as a reward when working obedience and also short tracks! Fantastic toy- keeps your fingers safe

vulnox We have been using one with our 14 week old for about a month now. It started off just slow dragging, now I run around the main floor holding it so he can chase it. Just have to watch when we get to the laminate so he (or I) do not have any major wipe outs.

It definitely wears him out. Last night he was crawling onto his bed around 10pm.

This is about the age we started, just keep it on the ground and avoid jerky movements.

Sansa's Mom It is not only safe, but also AWESOME!! Flirt poles are a lifesaver for tiring out a hyper puppy. My last GSD was really drivey and was a major landshark, I don't know what I would have done without one. Safety wise, just don't make her jump too high or crash into things, and she should be fine.

Bane Vom Vox You can incorporate some obedience while playing with her. You can even make your own flirt pole.

volcano I probably overdid it with my girl but shes a monster. The only way for it to be any game was to move it super fast, otherwise she had it already.
