|Mary Beth||If you are sure those 2 adult teeth, then yes, it would seem that your pup is older. I would take the pup in for a checkup and ask the vet to look at those teeth - that way, you will have another opinion if you are going to follow up with the breeder. To give the benefit of the doubt, the other possibility is if the dates were printed out in numbers that the European style was used where the day is first, then the month, and last the year.|

We have 2 puppies in our home, they are 2 weeks apart per their papers. The older one is a lab, he 13 weeks today. I noticed that he still has all of his puppy teeth.
The GSD will be 11 weeks tomorrow per his papers. Today I noticed he has his 2 front adult teeth coming in. He is LARGE. Every other puppy we have had didn't start getting adult teeth until about 4 mos.
The reason I am asking if this is normal is that now I'm wondering if he may not be the age that his AKC papers say he is.
He is a FANTASTIC puppy and we love him to death but I would hate to think that a breeder misrepresented the litter on the AKC paper work.
I have bred dogs before and when registering a litter it was MY word on their birth date.
What do y'all think?
