|Bentley's Momma||Ok good to hear, thanks! They are leashed walks - mostly sniffing around, some sitting and other command practice. We unfortunately don't have a fenced in backyard so we're still searching for the best (safe) open area options (non-dog parks) for off leash fun, but we'll be sure to do that activity a good amount after meals.|

Are they leashed walks after the meal? That shouldn't cause problems.
I'd be more worried about top speed tears around the field without a bit of a wait.

Puppy routine - walking after meals? (Bloat question?)
After a week with our now 11 week old puppy Bentley, the Husband and I are trying to establish a routine and schedule (to help us as much as Bentley)!
Right now Bentleyís breakfast is at 7am. One of us gets him up out of his crate at 7am (usually he starts to stir then anyway), potty, breakfast, and then taking him for a walk partially to get the zoomies out /do some training before I head to work and the Husband (who works the night shift) sleeps for two hours before taking him out again and going into the day time routine until Iím home from work. I just noticed someone briefly mentioning bloat to another person (which I assume isnít just a puppy thing) in a threadÖ
Should we be doing our walking/any exercise/training before breakfast in the morning? (Iíll happily take him out an hour earlier to do this, but will he be too hungry?) How long after meals should we wait for walks and/or training?
