|Liesje||If she's a purebred GSD she's very, very young. It's hard to tell so young, lots of breeds look like little sausages!|

How did you find her and get her that you did not see the parents, and only got pics? She looks around four, five months old? Too young to be away from the litter. And I agree with others, I mainly see Rottweiler in her. I know you love her regardless, but I think you were lied to, or the owner let the mom run loose and get to other dogs when she was in heat.
First thing is get her to a vet for a check up and see if you can get an age on her. What do the parents look like? You have pics?
She is just too cute, enjoy her, I'm sure you'll have lots of fun with that little fur ball. It will be interesting to see how she looks as she matures.

How old is the pup...and how big is she at the moment? Even runts of the litter aren't THAT much smaller than the largest puppy in the litter at 8 weeks old. You might have like a 5 lb difference and they don't really look like they're that stunted, they just look like smaller puppies.
I'd have to say that is a way too young GSD. The ears are so tiny...usually by 6 weeks you have some sign of ears that are pretty large (for the body size) and are trying to go up.

I agree the first thing that popped into my mind was that pup is way too young to be away from it's mother.
Secondly, to answer your question the only way to know for sure that she is actually a purebred is with a registered pedigree from a reputable organization like the AKC OR CKC (Canadian Kennel Club) in North America. Personally I say she's too young to tell, I'd wait a few more weeks and then take another set of pictures and let us see
You mentioned the breeder sent you photos, but did you actually see either of the parents in person? It's pretty easy to just send two photos off the internet claiming that they are the parents but that doesn't mean they actually are.

Pure Breed? Can Someone Help Me Out?
So, I just got this beautiful little girl, Samara, two days ago. I had planned to ask lots of questions and only get a pure breed GSD. However, I saw her and fell in love. The owner, on the other hand, claims that she is a pure breed GSD and sent me pics of both mom and dad (which are for sure Shepherds).
I've had some people say she's the runt of the litter and have seen GSD runts that look a lot like her, and I've had others say she is not pure breed. I really don't care either way because I'm going to love her with all my heart no matter what, but I'm just curious: Is there any way she's a pure breed? Any help would be appreciated.
Btw, first dog of my own at 24! I couldn't be happier
