My dog use to do that too....every morning!
If you'd like to add meat to the Honest Kitchen, here is a guideline that I got from Kat Pennick from the Honest Kitchen Staff.
For every 1 dry cup of Thrive, Love or Embark, you can add ½-1 cup of meat. Then, to compensate for the meat, you will want to reduce the dry mix by ¼ - ½ cup. Here is an example: 5 cups of Thrive + 2.5 cups of meat – 1.25 cups Thrive = 3.75 cups Thrive (dry) and 2.5 cups of meat per day.
Here is how I made it: Dry H/K = ¾ cup + 1 cup water + ½ cup Meat = 1 ½ cups of prepared food.
Hope this helps!

Thanks, I don't like going to the vet for non serious issues.
I will try the feeding later thing. And try to get the hubby not to wake him at 3-5am to play, sheesh.

|mbussinger166||I agree with happyblond. I had a Husky that would throw up bile every morning around 6 or 7. I started feeding him later in the evening towards bedtime and he was fine. Hope everything works out for ya.|

|happyblond||My boy will bring up bile in the morning if he dosent eat his breakfast so i feed him a little later in the evening it seems to work so you could try that or give him a snack before you go to bed i dont think its anything to worry about but if u are worrid you could just visit your vets to put your mind at ease hope this helped.|

Throwing up bile around 3-5am?
I've recently tried to transition Togo to various raw diet (freeze dried, honest kitchen, actual raw) to see what is best for him.
My husband likes to work late, and wakes him around 3-5am to play with him, and then he would throw up some bile. If not roused, he would sleep without vomiting up the bile.
Do you think this is a problem? Should the food be changed again?
Right now he's in the midst of transitioning to the honest kitchen (though I want to supplement with actual pieces of raw too because I don't think THK has enough meat in it.)
