|Galathiel||I use water as well .. enough that it's soupy. However, dogs don't really 'chew' like humans do anyway.|

|Shade||I add water to Delgado's food to slow him down and force him to chew. Both dogs actually prefer it now which is great|

Does not chew food, worried about health issues.
Dixie my shep/lab mix that is 7mo old, that I have had since the last of June does not chew anything, she swallows her food whole. She eats really fast and just gulps down everything that I give her. I know that you can slow down their eating with the right kind of bowl, but how do you get them to chew?
I can feed her 1 kibble at a time and she will still just swallow it, it doesn't matter, she is like a vacuum cleaner. I am worried that she may develop health issues as time goes on because of this.
Has anyone else had a dog that would swallow their food without chewing, or does anyone have any suggestions?
