Very happy she ended up in a good home. I wouldn't have hard feelings towards the family, though. If the woman that took her in was 90, she must have been closing in on 100 by the time she gave up the dog. She gave her a loving home as long as she was able to, and the family - Or whoever surrendered Sawyer - May not have realized they were able to return her.
She is a beautiful dog, doesn't look her age - I imagine she's had a pretty good life.

No problem, I saw your correction after I replied. I actually thought maybe I put the wrong date in.
But either way, I agree she looks so young and was well taken care of so that is a huge relief.

|Renofan2||She is 10, but still you are right. she looks and acts very young according to her new owner. I think they were doubting that she was really 10! She was born on Palm Sunday - April 13th. Her sister looked like a pup until about 2 months before I realized she was so sick. Trying to post a pic of her sister Falon taken 3 months before she died for comparison.|
