Lancaster CA? That's where my Remy came from. He was on the verge - they were going to put him down bc they thought it was parvo but a local rescue got him and nursed him back to health. Fiona looks so sweet and content - very grateful Good luck with the new one, hope it works out between them!

My Beautiful Fiona....
Fiona came from Lancaster Animal Shelter (what an awful place!)as a stray, she was due to be put down 3 times, but they kept forgetting, she was going to put down if I didn't get her that day, she was very malnourish, and scared of everything, she used to hide when ever she heard my husband's voice,we thing she was abused. Three months later, and she's the sweetest dog I ever had, she's still very afraid of new people, she already knows: sit, lay, come, and stay.
The first two are pictures is her at the animal shelter, and the last one her being a spoiled brat. I love my princess.
On friday, I'm rescuing another GSD, i haven't decided on a name for him yet but he had a rough start he's only one year old, but he's being chained his whole life, poor kiddo has a scar around his neck from the tight collar... I don't know why people get dogs if they're going to mistreat them
(He's the black one)
