|Crocky||Lol, no problem. Your Lisl is beautiful by the way!|

|MichaelE||'He', sorry. I hate that everyone thinks Lisl is a male and I'm always correcting them.|

|Crocky||Thanks Michael! He changes so much everyday!|

|MichaelE||She's a cutie! She has ear floofies so I think she's going to be at least a plush coat.|

|Crocky||Just checking back in to this thread. I am leaning more towards the plush side, in between LC and short. Can't wait to see the end product . I can't figure out how to upload more than one pic when I use the attachment button vs photobucket|

Thanks Bear and selzer. Still a mystery but now I am leaning more towards stock after looking at the pics above or slightly plush...maybe. However Silas does have more fuzz than I remember Kesler having at this age and she was stock/short. Who knows. Either way he is one handsome boy to us . We will be pleasantly surprised whatever type of coat and color he has as he grows. Enjoying the journey at this point.
Here are some pics from this past weekend 8 1/2 weeks. He is changing everyday at this stage Still hard to tell from the pics but wanted to post anyway just in case as it has been a long time since looking at GSD puppies. Bear at what age was your boy in the third pic.

It's early to tell but he reminds me of my boy, and he's coated. Bear is more on the plush side than a full long coat, here's a couple of pics:
Good luck and congratulations on your new pup!

Laddie had more fuzz than Lord or Lassie, but Lady was different than any critter I ever had -- my first coat. Usually it is the ear floofies that give it away.
It will be interesting to see how your pup grows out. It is a nice looking puppy either way. Congratulations.

Thanks for the pics, beautiful babies! Yah he definitely has more fuzz than his litter mates and a little crimping on his ears but hard to tell. His littler mates had more of a smoothness behind their rears than him. Either way we are Excited to see how he develops!
Yeah he is actually 7 1/2 weeks old. Born Aug 7th. Vet visit went great. He had a very busy day. Picked him up at 3:00, car ride, straight to the vet then meeting his new brothers and sister.

I cannot tell from those photos. He is almost 7 weeks old? I think I have a picture of two puppies, one coat one not:
This is Lord and Lady. Lady is a coat:
Laddie is plush -- not a coat but more plush than Lord:
And another photo of Lady and her mom:
I have more current pictures of Lord, but they pups are six months old now, and I only have Lassie.
Lord before he went to his new home -- definitely not a coat:
