My first GSD would not give any verbal sign he needed out. He would just walk by the door and if it was closed he would go on the rug. We put up a driveway alarm. Wireless noise maker. He would walk by it and it would make a ding dong noise and we knew he had to go out.
The new GSD will scratch on the security door or whine.

But most of the times she does what you said.
However, we started to crate train her alot and she loves her crate now, its alot easier to potty train her now. Around the times we now she poops, we put her in there and let her be there for 30min then take her straight out.
Goes kinda well now alot less accidents.

|alexg||She just can't poop without some wiggling and circling like all dogs do. You must watch her and catch her at this moment. That is the time for you to say something like 'No', pick her up and get her outside.|

We crate train but as we have cats it's abit harder, as they go in there also! But we are getting there.
Today we took her out for 30min each hour. So half the day she spent outside almost.
Just got home from a 45min walk and the first thing she does when she gets in, poops inside. (She had eaten 20min before we went outside).

|Galathiel||Is your puppy on a set feeding schedule? Or is food left out for it to graze on? Scheduled feedings help with being able to anticipate when your pup will need to go out. Do you crate train? It's a useful tool in helping a puppy realize that there are times it needs to hold it. Then you can whisk them immediately outside to potty once released from the crate. At that age, I carried mine out so it wouldn't have an accident on the trek outside. You may need to take it out even more often than every hour if you are not using a crate. I think I took mine out every 30 minutes or so when he wasn't crated.|

Puppy has stopped letting us know when she wants out
So firstly, our puppy is about 9,5 weeks old. I know it's not alot.
However, the first 6 days she used to let us know, whining etc when she wanted out.
But now she has stopped. She no longer poo outside (been 3 days since) but she urinate outside like normal.
We go out with her whenever we can (As we are always here wit her, its mostly atleast once a hour). Small walks and longer walks also.
Nothing helps. We can go out with her for a decently long walk and she does not poo. But when she gets home, she poos.
