Just an update.
Ozzie is still warming up, he has his moments. I guess he gets a little stubborn with the Girlfriend when I'm not around. So I need to start training her and training him together, so he knows she is to be obeyed.
The puppy and Ozzie are always picking on each other, stealing bones, randomly biting each others necks (playfully).
Squirrel has gained the role of Queen, and Ozzie no longer messes with her like he use to, they stay play but Ozzie doesn't bite her anymore.
Ozzie isn't doing to great at Obedience, I can't get him to heal, sit, stay, etc. I'm still working on him and trying to break the wildness, I'm sure its going to take some time. His recall is phenomenal though.

He started getting a little rough last night but I noticed the puppy was egging him on by taking his bone and running with it (I was working on the server and and would peak up every few minutes, I gave them all their own bone with some peanut butter) and of course the puppy being smaller only got a little bit and finished first and wanted more haha. I caught it before it got ugly but I used it as a training exercise for the puppy to not take other bones and for the rescue to know that wasn't nice. I put the puppy back to his original spot and gave him his original bone and watched them.
Other than a couple small incidents, things are going good.

Do NOT leave dogs together without supervision - even after 2 weeks!!!! At 2 weeks he will just be starting to feel comfortable and decide to move up the ladder within the household...this is a time where you have to be very diligent!!! He should be crated when you are not present or overnight, not loose with other dogs.
It can work out great - but do not take any chances.

Hey everyone! I just wanted to give you all an update.
I got him!!!
To start things off, the meet and greet really didn't go as well as I thought it was going to. Ozzie (the rescue) has dominant issues and has to be the alpha male, as I already knew this.
But we started things off slow and I met with Ozzie one on one and made sure we still clicked and everything was smooth and he was extremely happy to see me again. So we decided to bring Gunner out (4 month gsd). Ozzie lost it and went crazy. Barking, lunging full attack mode. And of course Gunner didn't just sit back and take it, he started puppy barking haha.
So we took a step back and got everyone calm and took baby steps. It took almost 20 minutes until I was able to come within 10 feet of Ozzie with Gunner. And we got them both to lay down and we just relaxed for a few minutes. So we took a couple more baby steps and Ozzie wasn't having it and went after Gunner.
Basically is was 1 step forward, 2 steps back. But after about an hour things settled down a lot and Ozzie warmed up to the point that we were able to walk all three dogs at the same time without anyone getting uncomfortable or nervous.
Its barely been a full day since I've had him and I have seen a huge change in Ozzie. I can now let them all in the same room without holding his leash and worrying. I still watch him close and make sure everything goes smooth.
Ozzie and Gunner are buddies where they wrestle and play with each other, as were Squirrel (Border Collie), she is the queen of the house and she has taken the "Alpha" role and Ozzie hasn't pushed the limits too far as Squirrel already made it clear.
I have two weeks to decide whether it will work or not, but I can't imagine it not working out. He's a gorgeous dog and has a very spirited heart, always looking for kisses and attention.
Here are a couple of photos

Be sure all dogs are introduced slowly - don't just turn them loose in a room....
Sometimes it takes some careful time together over a few days to integrate a new dog into a group - and will work fine, while if you just throw them together there can be some snarkiness

Hope you get him too!! I have rescued many of my dogs and for me as well, they turned out to be such good loving dogs they take some time to adjust but once they settle in their just happy to have a home!! Let us know!!
