LOL, Berlin is a snorty mc snort snort...seriously this thing sounds like a darn pig when hes sniffing some really juicy pee mail!
Interesting to see theres a method to his madness!
FWIW, I do SchH tracking with my snort monster, and he is a good tracker (he snorts on the track sometimes too). We are also doing some barn hunt and his little snorty schnoz works JUST fine.

|doggiedad||my dog snorts a lot when we're in the woods. when we're walking around the neighborhood he doesn't snort. i think it's excitement snorting if there's such a thing. one time we were in the woods and he snorted so hard i thought something was stuck in his nose or throat.|

|jocoyn||Dogs will snort when they are working on a particular odor to clear their nose. It also blows up odor on the ground for more sampling.|

|cci058||Maverick snorts all the time when she is sniffing. I think she is so excited. I haven't noticed it to be a problem because she doesn't have any congestion, runny nose or any other similar symptoms that would make us concerned.|

Snorts when sniffing?
Soooo not sure if it's a big deal or not, but Zelda snorts almost every time when she sniffs things. She has done this since i got her, in May. She also sneezes on occasion. She was sneezing a lot, and as of recently she not doing it nearly as much-if at all.
When she got her physical, apparently it wasn't a big deal (her snorting). So maybe its not. I thought dogs like bull dogs were more prone to it because of the way their muzzles are.
But i was hoping to try and do tracking for fun with Zelda, and wasn't sure if maybe she can't smell well or what?
