|GSD07||When you got a dog for cheap, it doesn't mean you got a cheap dog. It may mean you simply lucked out Enjoy your pup and help her with reaching her potential, that intelligence and drives can turn into a curse if not properly channeled|

GSD07, That is awesome i do see that (your dog is beautiful) feel like Iím starting to understand a little about the data base,
I don't want to discredit the breeder but i found him in a local paper and got my dog pretty cheap, but I feel very fortunate and rather lucky with my selection especially given my knowledge i had at the time of what things to look for in a good gsd breeder.
my pup seems very intelligent and seems to be all the things you listed she is also extremely fast and agile, I just feel like she's capable of more and deserves more of a challenge I hope to provide that for her with the help of some professional clubs or training in my area. Thank you for your input!!

Yes, the bottom of the pedigree is DDR. Elsie is a littermate to my dog, Anton, they are from the same litter. So if your dog inherited a lot from the dam's side, she should be very sound, strong nerves, very good judgement, and an awesome tracker. Congratulations! Have no idea about the sire, though.
Why do you think your breeder was not a good choice? I think you did pretty good!

|zoeysdad||Lucy dog, thank you for your feedback and for taking the time to look at this for me!!|

Dam is all DDR. Sire is mostly Czech with a little west german show lines at the bottom of the pedigree.
How they all mesh and what to expect from your puppy... that I can't help you with.

Looks like a mix of DDR and Czech lines. In fact my pup shares a granddad with yours. Aron Vom Poppitz. My boy is from Vom Banach. I am super happy with him. He is slow to mature, still a stupid goofy puppy at 7 mo. But a nice solid nerve, great temperament, great food drive, tracks like a machine.
For not doing research, looks like you got a pup with a decent pedigree.
What do you plan on doing with your boy?
No matter your research, or where you got your pup, what you do now is what counts. Get him out, socialize, start training, have fun!!!
Congrats and pics are a requirement of the board!!! Well maybe they are MY requirement!!! LOL!!
