Try this site. They have A-Z dog food ratings. They tell how and why they give a food its rating. You can even view the list by overall quality ie: 5 star, 4 star etc. They rate kibble, wet and raw pre-mades.
Hope it helps

|Syldrin||Taste of the wild gave him really loose stools when i switched him to it. I thought Eukanuba was a good food.|

I would first suggest a higher quality food. I personally would suggest a raw diet, but I know not everyone wants to go that route.
I'm sure that someone can recommend a good kibble. One that a lot of people like/recommend is Taste of the Wild.
Our pup had some itching problems as well. We started giving him supplements. He gets vitamin E, krill oil capsules, and coconut oil. Every once in awhile we also give him a probiotic. It has definitely helped immensely.

I have a question about GSD's and I didn't know where it would fit really. my puppy Atlas has been very itchy ever since he was little. the vet and I have tried numerous treatments from otc (50mg Benadryl twice daily) to prescription anti-allergy meds to a glucose free diet. I currently feed him Eukanuba GSD formula. I am not with him right now he is staying with my mother until the end of the year she say's his ears aren't super red anymore and he still itches some he isn't scratching himself as much. Does anyone here have any experience with this themselves and maybe a solution? I greatly appreciate any input. I don't have any photos i can upload at this time I'm sorry i can't upload media from a government computer.
