Has the vet ever flushed out his ears? If it's so bad that he's constantly shaking his head and he's walking around with his head tilted, it's possible that the drops (what exactly are they?) you're giving him have not fully knocked out the infection.
I like Zymox, but it might be better for occasional use as a preventative, AFTER thoroughly flushing out the ears.

My boy has had ear infections all the time since he was a baby. I have changed his diet to tons of kinds of grain free food, with different sources of protein, and they have stayed the same. Sometimes depending on the weather they will get better/worse. I have of course had him to the vet several times and they always give him drops for like..10 days..which helps then once I stop giving them to him they get bad again. The vet says he believes they are environmental, which I think so as well. Does anyone have any tips on something I can give him to help? I don't like giving him vet drops all the time, there must be something I can get that doesn't require the vet and is more natural. Today they are especially bad, shaking his head all the time and coming to me to rub them, walking around with his head tilted.
(I do give him coconut oil with his food every day)
