I cleared both the Euphorbia Hirita extract and the Coco Nectar with my vet, as long as I take everything she prescribes (CoAmoxiClav, Doxycycline, Menadione, B Complex, Tranexamic Acid).
She is now Day 19. She was on Day 16 when we had her blood checked

I can post a list of DMV Holistic Vets registered with the AHVMA if you tell me what state you are in.

Was she ever on prednisone? My dog with ehrlichia was on prednisone and doxy for the first ten days.
The vet teaching hospital where I took him said something about the dog's own immune system fighting against the dog with tick illness and prednisone helps mediate that.
Might be worth a course of pred- or you can ask your vet about that. Not a fan of the stuff, but it's better than the alternative of the dog getting sicker.
I had my dog at U. Missouri Columbia vet teaching hospital where they see a lot of tick illness.
I don't put much stock in unproven "natural" treatments. Be careful, "natural" stuff can have side-effects, too.

|Mary Beth||She is only on day 13 of the Doxycycline, so that needs more time. Understandably you are worried and anxious. If you have a homeopathic vet in your area, I suggest you make an appt. since any treatment would not interfere with her medication. Supplements can react differently on dogs than humans if the Coco Nectar is related to cocoa and dogs can't have chocolate, so I would be concerned about giving that.|

GSD with LOW platelets and WBC
My GSD Coke, whom I have shared in the Health Related Issues page, is positive with Ehrlichiosis and we've started treatment. We're at day 13 of 200mg Doxycycline twice daily.
Her check-up last Sunday showed even lower platelets and WBC, and we're now worried that she may begin bleeding due to the platelet count (now at 33k). Any sort of changes with her like blood in stool, lethargy, and the vet and I will have her confined.
Added to her Doxycycline is Vitamin K as a supplement, a B Complex tablet for appetite, Sylimarin as before to protect her liver from the antibiotics, CoAmoxiclav for any infection, and now Tranexamic Acid to alleviate/prevent bleeding.
I'm still out of my wits with worry. I've now been trying alternative medicine to supplement her meds, of course with my vet's permission.
I'm now trying Euphorbia Hirita capsules (I had this when I had dengue and it helped me a lot, especially since prior to my intake of this plant, I've been in the hospital for 5 days without any progress. 2 days with this plant steeped as a tea and my platelets were normal.)
I've also added a few tablespoons of Coco Nectar, which is currently being researched as a way of increasing platelets. Testimonials are written on how people were well 2 days post intake, taken as a last resort prior to blood transfusion--which was then unnecessary once the substance kicked in.
Any other suggestions? My main main concern is her platelets.
