|Kaun||Thanks for the reply! I'm trying to soak everything up, I have never had such a young puppy before so I want to do things right.|

The most important thing about starting and continuing training with our puppies is their ATTITUDE! A puppy who learns to LOVE training and learning from us is amazing for the rest of their lives. And learn so fast.
This is what I focus on with my pups:
Engagement - Key to Training
Teaching a trick is the least important part of teaching tricks
Intro to Clicker Training (perfect for puppies!)
Why bother to 'socialize' and I want photos/videos of puppies/dogs.....

When to start training for duration
When can you start adding duration to puppy training? By that I mean at what age can I start asking my puppy to stay and start building duration. Mine is 12 weeks now and I don't really feel she's quite ready enough for it, she's still quite jittery and scatter brained. I'm doing a lot of fluency between sit/lie/stand and plan to build stay on that.
