Always in your heart!
So sorry for your loss. I lost my girl in January and think of her everyday. Getting a new puppy last month has definitely helped fill the void and put quite a bit of laughter back into my life. It may take some time to feel up to doing that, you'll know when you are ready.

New To this forum
I live in NY state and am new to this forum. I have already posted on some other forums about losing my girl two days ago. Its great to know that there is a place like this to honor and share about this wonderful breed.
I have owned 6 GSD's since the 1970's, I could say 8 but they (2) lived with a close relative but were still family. I have always had two at one time, male and female. I have gotten puppies and rescued older dogs. They have been raised with babies and cats and live in a house.
I have had other dogs in my life but love the GSD breed for their gentleness, loving nature and loyalty.
I am so happy to read all the posts here and look at the wonderful pictures of everyone's beautiful dogs.
I am struggling with the loss of my girl, her mate last year...I know I am not alone in the emptiness in my heart.
I plan to replace her as soon as possible, our home is not complete without a GSD.
