|ammgood||Go back to the vet right away to get further testing. Don't want to alarm you but don't wait. Our GSD Tika did the same thing. The did cultures that came back negative. Had Ultrasound of abdomen and it came back cancer thruout the area with tumors sitting on bowel and bladder.|

|Deno||The sample came back negative. The Vet said Dex's behavior could be because Lexie is about to go into heat. I had never heard of anything like this before, I am curious if anyone else has.|

|Courtney||Agreed. It's easy just to drop a sample off like you intend to|

Do take this very seriously. Could creep up to the prostate and even the kidney.
We had quite the problem here with that, and are just now getting it under control.

Possible bladder infection?
Dex has been peeing strangely lately, he will pee for like 2 or 3 minutes at a time until it's just a dribble, then he just holds the same position for another minute or so. He has also been drinking a lot of water. He is 18 months old and he still squats to pee, I don't think this has anything to do with any of this but I thought I would mention it. Yesterday he was peeing fine. I am going to take a urine sample to the vet just to be safe.
Thanks in advance for any advice.
