What is a solid range?
So I have just began the very basics of getting my boy trained to track scents through the air. I started by using his tennis ball, hiding it far in the woods, and letting him sniff it out, now I only go about 50 yards into the woods find a good hiding spot. Come back to where he is waiting, give the command and let the big guy go to work. He never fails, so I'm wondering if its time to make it a little more challenging range wise, any advice on this would be helping. I've only begun the very basics but seems like he's doing very well so far.
