our first dog is extremely well trained, does well on and off leash and listens on command 99.9% of the time (unless there is a squirrel).
i dont think its aggression because they get along quite well, but after time builds up and rough housing builds up does it get really rough. im consulting with the same trainer i used for my first dog to see what the steps are.

Usually males will get along with females. Not always. But these are two youngsters, and are most likely just playing rough.
Two adolescent puppies is a big responsibility. I would get them both in separate training classes ASAP. Usually we in general encourage people to wait for the resident dog is a few years old, 3-4, and training is where you want it, before introducing a second dog.

|Nigel||Maybe you can locate a good trainer familiar with gsds and have them assess their interaction? Mine growl, snarl, bite etc... It can sound like a full on fight, but its just rough play. Every now and then one of them gets hurt and let's the other know they don't like it, time to break it up. Maybe what you are seeing is aggression, IDK without seeing it, best to have someone with experience check it out.|

|hvtopiwala||its gotten to the ponit where i think they might draw blood, ive broken it up a few times, cuz they both lift their lips and seriously go at it, full on growl like they want to kill each other...1 tries to run away and hide adn the other keeps attacking....i dontk now if i should be breaking that up or let them keep going cuz i dont want them to think they can always fight like that especially when i drop them to day cares and such|

sounds like typical rough play to me too. mine play really rough and most folks think they are fighting but they arent.
if it was real aggression your dogs would be covered in blood and you would know a real fight was on

|Nigel||Could very well be rough play. Mine can sound pretty crazy sometimes when they play, but you know when one of them has had enough. Perhaps you can post a video of their interaction.|
