|shavahn||We started using Nature's Farmacy Gain & Shine on our dog's food to help plump him up. He doesn't eat a ton, either, so this is just a powder supplement that goes on top of the food. He's gained a couple of pounds over a few weeks. Good luck!|

Glad someone asked.
Our Rescued Akira will eat every other day.
They warned us she was picky.
I sometimes boil or fry an egg and throw it in with the kibble to make her eat.
Is this common in GSD?

She has vaccine papers showing her up to date until February, but I agree she needs a checkup to make sure everything else is OK. Was just worried about her not eating. Thanks for the advice.

I agree with BowWowMeow, make sure you have that vet visit because there may be more going on.
Otherwise, she may be a picky eater. MANY of our GSD's are so we have to mix the yummy special food with the kibble to get them to eat enough.
Great hints and tips right here ---> http://www.germanshepherds.com/forum...cky-eater.html

|BowWowMeow||Has she had a complete vet check up? Where did you get her from? Has she been checked for parasites, giardia, etc.?|

New here. Rescued a GS a few days ago. Took her to Petco asking for recommendations for weight gain. Spent almost $100 on Blue & she doesn't touch the dry. She will eat the wet but not very enthusiastic. I tried adding water, even tried mixing it. Is there something that this breed prefers?
I have resorted to cooking her plain hamburger patties to fatten her up. She is seriously underweight!
