What breeder in India did you buy in from?

he is stock coated - probably West German showlines...I think that is the most common "type" in India....
as far as urinating in the house - get him outside more often!!!! 3 or 4 times a day for a pup is not often enough. He should go out after every nap immediately.

|Microeyes||Thanks for the advice. I give him gnawlers dog chews.. and royal canine maxi junior for GSD but his favorite is my hand. I take him to walk 3-4 times a day. He does his potty outside in 1 very particular spot but he can't control his urination. He often goes off on his way to the toilet. And how are they with other dogs cos I have a St. Bernard and 2 boxers back home. I hope that won't b a problem.|

GSD puppies are very mouthy - they will try to chew and nip everything in reach - pretty normal behaviour. He will need to be watched and supervised so he doesn't get into stuff that could harm him. When you see him chewing on something he should not, be sure to have an appropriate toy or chew treat to redirect him. What kind of chews do you have for him? Maybe you need to try different products and see what he likes.
Raising him in an apartment should not be a problem, as long as he gets regular potty breaks and lots of outdoor exercise. GSDs are very pack oriented and usually do better living in the house with their family. Some breeds of dogs are more independent by nature and are happy being outside, but GSDs are very people oriented, so they are happier being inside with people.
At this age, just make sure you take him out every hour, after eating, and when he wakes up from a nap for pottying. Praise him and give him a treat when he does his business outside. If he has any accidents inside, don't make a big fuss over it. Just clean it up, and keep a closer eye on him so you can anticipate his needs and take him out.
Enjoy him, he is a cutie!

|Microeyes||Thank you. He was gifted to me that's the reason why I donot have any idea. He is very active but the problem is he mouths everything save dog chews. Will there be any problems if I raise him in an apartment?|
