|kpoage20||Her ears are what I noticed about her first. I'm pretty sure we get free direct tv with her LOL. I love her ears and I hope they stay like that, but I'm sure she will grow into them.|

Wow how lucky you are! What an exellent looking pup! I love the markings and am a sucker for big ears!
I'd take things one at a time starting with the food. There is alot of info on different foods and owners experiences with them. This site is a great site for advice and help. Many knowledgable folks around here!
I myself started out on Science Diet but switched to Blue Buffalo Large Breed Puppy. It's a grain free dry kibble. But you can scan through the puppy feeding thread and figure a few hings out as to where you want to start. In the end it's up to you.
Man, can't get around those ears! I love'm!

|kpoage20||Thanks for the welcomes! I can kind of see what you're saying about the boxer. Although, I think she may have some rabbit in her too with the big ears. I picked up a bag of iams large breed puppy food to start her out with. And I think I'm going to go with a grain free diet. Maybe mix a little ACV in her water every once in a while. She's a little in the skinny side now and I don't want to get her big to fast to prevent joint pains.|

Welcome and congratulations on your new addition! Thanks for adopting from a shelter, glad she has you guys as her furever home!
Call me crazy, but in her face i see maybe boxer? Her eyes, forehead and muzzle just scream boxer! She is just adorable!
I think a lot of people would say RAW is a good way to go, there is a whole section on that in the forums. I feed my puppy Blue Buffalo and also make her boiled chicken/organic white rice for toppings or when she doesn't want to eat. (She is a bit on the skinny side)
Anyways lots of great people and information on this forums! Good luck!

New GSD owner
Hi, my name is Kevin and I am a pround owner of my first GSD. I adopted her from the Guilford county animal shelter in NC. She is currently 3months old and is very playful, we have a mini weiner dog and also a golden lab for her to play with. Her paper work said German sheperd mix, so we think she has some Belgian malinois in her also. I've been doing some extensive research on what to feed her, how to train her, and all of the good stuff. And by extensive research, I mean searching the web lol. If anyone has any advice on what is best to feed this breed, or any other pointers, feel free to chime in
