|Jax08||Interesting comment on another board....person tried all sorts of high quality kibble and the dog would still vomit sporadically. Maybe Sierra is just having issues digesting kibble? She did fine on raw and her stomach settled right down when I gave her rice, chicken and ginger.|

OK that is good news, than I'm out of the convo.
Hope they get better, good luck.

They are vomiting...it is not Mega E

Sue - I would think that also, except we've already switched foods and their vomiting is not consistent. Two days on, 3 weeks fine...
Mid American Pet Food makes Victor. Texas based, all sourced here.
Personally, I think we have two different medical issues going on.

How old are these two dogs?
Are they from the same litter?
Are they throwing up or regurgitating?

|doggiedad||go to the Vet. have the food tested.|

It would be unlikely for two dogs with different genetics to be allergic to the same odd meat proteins. It would be more likely that the dogs are both reacting to some salmonella or ecoli in the food itself. Sometimes during processing stuff gets into the food.
Usually, salmonella is more a concern with people than dogs. Dogs have a quick system and with a good immune system, they are unlikely to react to salmonella. But it is not unheard of. I do not know who makes Victor. I still think that Diamond makes some Canidae out there.
My girls are on Diamond Naturals, and usually I am getting good solid turds out there, and then I switch bags, and three or four are giving me yuck poo again. I back down the amount, and usually stuff firms up and all is ok again.
I don't like kibble, but right now there just isn't a viable alternative for me and my girls.

I swear these two have sympathy pains for the other.
now...neither are throwing up. But once one starts the other seems to follow.
WHAT is this!?

|Jax08||Seems odd that it's only the two dogs on kibble that are having issues, doesn't it?|

|Jax08||Sounds good Ruth! That and switch back to the fish like he wants too.|
