readaboutdogs The different drummer:if a man does not keep pace with his companions, perhaps it is because he hears a different drummer. Let him step to the music which he hears, however measured or far away. Henry David Thoreau.

readaboutdogs Couple my favorite quotes: dog lessons for people: be loyal and faithful,be quick to forgive, love unconditionally, run and play daily, follow your instincts, life is short-pet often, avoid biting when a growl will do,sometimes it's best to just sit close and listen, enjoy the simple pleasures of a walk, accept all of life's treats with gratitude, never underestimate the value of a belly rub, keep digging until you find what you want!
And Henry David thouroe "the different drummer"

Walperstyle You can't fix the past. The future road will be hard, but you can make the best of it.

I would say to be careful of worrying about what people think about you. A former tennant of mine hung around a bad scene, had a criminal record and was always doing wrong. He then tried to cut that all out of his life and surround himself with good people, looking for the approval of others. Long story short, last month he murdered his father. He tried too hard for approval, he snapped and now is in jail.

Keep an apology short to people you have wrong'd, and don't go looking for society to think good of you. You can only do good deeds, and eventually they will speak for themslves. Don't go trying to fix the past. You can't. Its going to be a hard road to get use to but you will be ok in the long run if you keep your head up and be willing to try new directions and be happy about doing them.

cheers.
