KatsMuse Yup...more than once.
It's amazing what you can spend on a dog...just wait till you start a sport or join a club and need gear.
(Good thing hubby loves the dogs too)

Jo Ellen I did it! I got the collar in the first picture I posted, 1.25", and the cafe lead.

Merry Christmas, Spirit

$116.00 Holy cow. Has anyone else here spent this much money on one collar and leash?

Jo Ellen Thanks! If these weren't so expensive, I'd be less fussy. Want to make a good decision.

And no, despite the raised eyebrows from family, I do not think $107 is too much to spend on a quality collar and leash.

KatsMuse If that's the only two, I'd go with 1.25"

Sunflowers One inch looks too narrow to me.

Jo Ellen This is what the site says:

1" Leather Dog Collars
These collars generally work well for medium to large breed dogs. The double layer, lined collars in this section are pretty heavy duty and are designed for stronger dogs over 50 lbs.
1.25" Leather Dog Collars
These collars are designed for large to giant breed dogs or for anyone who is looking for a wider collar than the standard 1" width. The double layered, lined collars in this section are much thicker and heavier than those you'd normally find in pet stores and are designed for dogs who need a stronger collar.

I like how this particular style is double layered.

Sunflowers I love those collars. I wish they came with quick release closures, though.

KatsMuse We PM'd at the same time...lol!

I don't know about the thickness/width.

Jo Ellen But I kind of like this one too, it's 1.25" with red jasper gems. Do I want 1" or 1.25" or larger ??
