Chicagocanine Yeah I've had people do that too... My previous dogs didn't even look over if someone barked at them but Bianca would look around to try to see who was doing the noise.
Oddly, it seems usually it is people who are scared that bark at dogs.

I had a man in his 70's growl and tell my dog he would kill her if she bit him...I rolled my eyes and she did a head tilt like "Who me?" And this is as we are walking down the street minding our own business.

BroncoK We used to live next to someone who owned a herd of Sheep. I can't tell you how many times in a week we would all be playing outside and hear someone "Baah"ing at the sheep from their car windows! HAHA! They all had their own interpretations of a "bah" as well.
