Diabla is only 3 months old but I'd like to do bikejöring in the future, so far I'm preparing myself doing some mountainbike and teaching my pup that when she is wearing an harness it's ok to pull.
My question is: When and how can I start to teach her the commands and directions? I wouldn't want her to really pull until at least 12 months old. What other things can I do in the meantime?

The Skijor Now site also has excellent information on bikejoring. You can find that info here:
http://www.skijornow.com/skijornowhome.html You'll see a link there (underlined) about training tips. That will take you to another page with another link about bikejoring and should answer most of your questions. Skijor Now is a great site. They helped me alot getting started with skijoring. |
