Hi I'm sorry if this is the wrong section. I wasn't quite sure where to post it. I have a 5 month old puppy who Will climb on Anything that he possibly can.He climbs, not jumps over the six foot chain link fence! He will climb up on the glass desk, back of the couch, onto chairs and kitchen counters. And he's a big boy. He loves it and has no fear. Any ideas on a sport or way to incorporate climbing into exercise routine?

Agility would be good...a couple months when we were learning everything, my dog decided that she loved the A Frame. She did the sequence and at the end ran to the A Frame and just kept going up and down it..at least 10 times. Everytime she sees the A Frame, she is ready to go.

5 month old puppies have no business on an a-frame. Hiking would be a good activity for a puppy that likes to climb. Foundation training would be good for any puppy. Be sure to take it easy on those growth plates at such a young age- no reason at all to have them slamming down on their shoulders on an a-frame.
