long jumps with the dawg
|
just bumping to hopefully get some critique on how my boy is growing conformation wise and movement.
thanks any comments |
Can't critique - but just love to watch an athletic GSD giving it his all!
|
haha, thanks.
BTW that log was slippery was going to delete out the little whoopsy but why.. cheers for the comment |
No, the little whopsie is great - D doesn't even bat an eyelash or miss a beat even though he was almost falling off. Not one iota of stress shown, just 100% self-confidence.

yr on my pack's christmas card list.

Very nice, love his athleticism! I've said it before but I really like how your dog is built:)
|
thanks Kristi, hard to categorise his type as he is kind of lanky but in balance...i think, am putting up some pics eventually in the critique section and hoping the conformation gurus can help me get a handle on his type.
thanks for nice comments. |
Love it too, but I cringe thinking if he landed wrong with that stick. I hate seeing sticks in the mouth with high drive dogs.
https://sphotos-a.xx.fbcdn.net/hphot...38865367_n.jpg Saw this on my fb wall tonight and it brought back memories of my GSD from 20 yrs ago...he had one wedged sideways way back in his mouth. I couldn't get it out and he was bleeding/frantic to get it out. It was a scary experience. |
He looks to be very lithe. Nice form---I think I must borrow him to test his running--I will send him back in about 12 years ;) He looks a happy dog too.
