Tournament this Weekend is going to be CHAOS.
Tomorrow and Sunday, we have a flyball tournament.
One of our start dogs and one of our only 3 height dogs (for our 3 teams) aren't going to be able to race. Start dog has pneumonia and our most solid height dog injured himself.
So Ozzy, who I would still consider green (but runs consistently) and our other height dog who is REALLY green and not completely consistent are the only two height dogs we have for our three teams. (Though they might knock it down to two teams, given our shortage).
I'm a little excited because Ozzy will get more points, but I know it's going to be extremely chaotic and hectic. He's only ever ran part time, and he'll be running full time this weekend for the first time. Hopefully he'll keep his consistency, even if it means he slows down. The only time he's ever been inconsistent was when he shredded his front paw pads, and he was going around jumps. (Obviously - his feet hurt).
I'm a bit worried, as I know when our other height dog gets tired, she starts going around jumps and dropping the ball.
Wish us luck, and healing thoughts for our dogs that are down and out right now would be very much appreciated!
