German shepherd sport

I don't where to put this thread so yeah. I'm thinking about the future when I get me a German shepherd someday! SO HARD TO WAIT! I'm thinking about a sport for him/her sounds like a great way to use my life with my future GSDs! Agility, rally, schutzund, tracking, and those other sports I don't know of flyball and what are the others?

Dock diving, obedience, lure coursing and weight pull are some others.

Oh, and don't forget herding!

@Tiffseagles

don't forget to leave brief info on the sports! I never done any sports besides Tae Kwon Do because of bullying :( and worried of getting head injuries and knee problems later in the future. Not worried about bullying anymore tho learned to not take it personally. Altho thinking about basketball next year for a senior in high school.

I do flyball with my girl, there are a few clubs in the Bay Area. I'm in the East Bay, but we race with Marin Running Riot, and practice at the Marin Humane Society in Novato. Here's our website - there's some info about the sport, and if you scroll down on this page you can read Halo's bio: : : Marin Running Riot Flyball Club : :

We're hosting a tournament at the Mare Island Sports Center in Vallejo the first weekend in March if you'd like to come see what it's all about. :)

I'm the resident herding fanatic! If you don't have access to a herding trainer you can check out Trieball which uses the herding instinct except it's a big ball instead of sheep
