That is a very short runback! I noticed that the U-Fli website doesn't mention the minimum runback at each tournament like NAFA does. The indoor soccer field where our club and another local club hosts tournaments has a minimum runback of 65 feet, and there are some with runbacks as long as 100 feet listed. I'm not sure what it was last weekend.

Yeah we've had some shorties, will have another this weekend (I was told I'll be out the door with my big dogs, ugh). I don't know if it's posted somewhere, I thought I remembered seeing it, but generally my team knows from experience. I think Pan is running the anchor spot though, so it will be less of an issue (I don't have to worry about getting my patoot out of the way!).

Which tournament are you going to Lies?

Slammers. It's in a different building than the one last spring. We were in the nice expo building before but now we're in one of the fair outbuildings. Crating outdoors and going to be near freezing and raining! I've packed everything from wool hats and a sleeping bag to shorts and tank tops because you never know in Michigan this time of year, it can be a 50 degree difference one day to the next (or even in the same day). My van looks like I'm going camping for a week!

We are expecting mostly rain for tomorrow and chilly weather. Good thing I will be busy in the ring most of the time. Looks like I have to run Errow 3 races over the weekend because of conflicts. Leaving work in a few hours to start taping mats down!

Where is your tournament?

It was our annual fall tournament just outside of Buffalo. Kinda small compared to other years but we had to move it up because Can-Am was moved. There was also another tournament in our region at the same time, just at the other end so we didn't have many teams from the east.

How was your weather? Ours started out OK, not that cold, but then a storm came through and we got soaked. It downpoured, hailed, thunder and lighting, huge wind gusts so we all just stood there getting soaked trying to hold everything down. Then it rained the rest of the afternoon. We had some leaks in the building and had to delay a race because the roof was leaking onto the lane. Yesterday it did not rain but felt much colder.

It was a little soggy on Saturday but it wasn't an all day soaker. Just some showers here or there during the day. It poured a bunch on Friday night. Yesterday was really nice perfect for the dogs and racing. We had everything torn down before 4. Our next tournament is Can-AM.

Meant to add Jean stopped by for a while on Saturday with Lily. She got to see Caja and had her pockets clean out. Lily is going to a great home.
