I had the same problem with Shane. First time we tried a real Dock Dogs dock and pool, he cried, jumped around and paced at the end of the dock and almost pushed ME into the pool. The closest he got was leaning over the edge, trying to reach the water with his paws. I've been training with him with a small above ground pool in my yard, and now I have him jumping into the deep water from a platform at water-level height. As he gets more confident I increase the height he's jumping from.
