What a treat today

Went to pick up my youngest today from swimming. It's at the civic center which has the best walking track in town so naturally Icon went. Got there about 45 minutes early so we could get a good walk in. As we neared the parking lot our section was all blocked off. Pop up sun shades dotted the park and I remembered it is Earth Day party time this weekend. Checking out the area I could see many dogs. First thing I thought was "what's with all the dogs?" next thought was "dang no prong collar".

We parked on the opposite side and saw a band doing a sound check and strolled though all the people to the other side. On the other side was all the dogs and a giant dog dive set up in the parking lot! Icon didn't know what to think with dozens of dogs, water, and people throwing things. He was a bit excited to say the least and and very vocal.

I strolled around on the edge of things until he settled in a little, and then got to see the number 2 dog in the world (according to the announcer guy) do his warm up jumps. Wow. Just wow. That was so cool. The dog looked like he could fly. Some of them simply fell off the end but several were really leaping. It was open to all dogs and for a brief moment I thought about letting Icon have a go at it, but didn't.

I think tomorrow is the competition, and I plan on checking that out for sure.

You may get to jump Icon during the down time tomorrow, bring one of his favorite toys, just in case!

Didn't make it today. Went to this instead.
